Shipping Perishable Items
Accurate information is very important for gift baskets containing perishable items to ensure the recipient is able to receive, open and properly store their gift. We cannot be responsible for perishable items received but not opened.

Warm and Cold Weather Shipping Issues
Basket contents will be modified for shipments to warm climates to ensure product freshness, or during winter, to ensure contents do not freeze during shipment. Chocolates and other perishable merchandise may require special handling during warm or cold weather. Orders for these items may require accelerated shipping methods. If we're concerned about the safe arrival of certain items in your desired gifts, we'll call and discuss this issue with you.

Generally, we revise the contents of our gift baskets by removing items that might be damaged by heat or extreme cold. We substitute non-perishable merchandise of equal or greater value, resulting in a gift basket that will arrive in perfect condition without the need for special handling and additional cost to you. To ensure the safe arrival of your gift basket during cold weather conditions, we ship on specific weekdays to ensure the arrival of your gift prior to the weekend, preventing potential courier or postal storage in unheated conditions.
